The Dublin Airport Authority Graduate Scheme was launched in 2007. Following expansion in 2008, it became important to help the directors at DAA understand who the graduates were and how the scheme was affecting them on an individual level.
DAA had been working in partnership with This Is, an organisation and leadership development company, on developing a world-class talent management system. This Is came to Dead Ready with a brief to create a video that helped put ‘faces to names’ in an engaging way and act as a stimulus for internal discussions about the scheme.
In May 2009, we travelled to Dublin Airport and filmed a series of interviews with the graduates, and then created a short video profile for each individual. We also created an introductory summary video. These videos were then shown at a directors meeting, enabling senior management to reconnect with each of the graduates and the overall scheme in an engaging and time-effective manner.
Following the success of the project, we were commissioned for further interviews with the new graduate intake of 2009.
