Enthusiastic, imaginative and empathetic, Chris is a highly skilled hands-on director with clients and an active supporter of the development of the Dead Ready Productions team. With over 16 years’ experience covering all stages of video production, Chris thrives on taking briefs and transforming a set of objectives into truly compelling, targeted video content that balances creativity with commercial effectiveness.
As a keen animator, Chris’ desire to push boundaries and explore new techniques means he excels at adding visual flair, dynamic energy and creativity to any subject matter. With a curious mind and a natural ability to problem solve (at pace), not to mention an absurd sense of humour, Chris is a personable, dedicated and diligent member of the team.
Nick has the driest sense of humour in the team and an unrivalled passion for sustainability which stems from his resourceful nature. Equally adept behind the camera filming as he is when creating dynamic video edits, Nick combines his extensive experience in animation, editing and camera work to create truly imaginative pieces of work that push boundaries.
Mia’s inventive, creative abilities, combined with her calm, collected nature, allow her to bring client briefs to life through the art of animation. A stop motion and AFX specialist, not to mention an expert puppeteer, Mia has experience in various forms of animation, with a particular passion for character design and the natural world, which often feed into her work.
Richard is a story telling expert, able to create compelling, engaging narrative from the sparsest of footage. With a considered, calm and reflective approach, Richard is equally at home cutting together serious presentation videos, bitesize social media content or high-energy promotional showreels using the diverse set of editing tricks he has stored up his creative sleeves.
James graduated with a 1st in Film Production from Southampton Solent University and has since worked as a full time videographer and editor at several creative agencies and video production companies. His passion for shooting is equaled by his love of crafting a story in the editing suite – combine this with his love for travel and he’s the perfect addition to the team.
With a curious mind and speedy ability to problem solve, Martine joins the team having completed a BA in Photography at Leeds Arts University followed by an MA in Media Production at York St John’s University. Born in Norway and having moved to join the company within a week of completing her MA, Martine is no stranger to new challenges and thrives on exceeding client expectations.
