In summer 2019 we were delighted to once again work with Cantor Hindson Consultancy in covering the annual Get on Board paddleboard event for their client, Be Richmond.
Taking place on the summer solstice, the event brought together the Richmond community as they took to the water to clean up the Thames, with others walking alongside and clearing the riverbank of litter.
We first covered the event in 2018, creating a promotional video to help spread the word of what was happening and show the impact of peoples efforts. So it was fantastic to see how successfully Get on Board had been scaled up for 2019, going from 90 paddleboarders to 300.
Over a beautiful July afternoon and evening, we used our regular video cameras, GoPros and our DJI inspire drone to cover the event from the ground, water and air – obtaining a wide variety of footage to feed into the highlights video.
