Talk PR came to us with a brief to put together a series of Q&A videos featuring Josh Wood, Wella Professionals, Global Creative Director of Colour; one of the UK’s most highly regarded colourist’s and a key trendsetter in the industry.
The objective of these videos was to promote Illumina Color, a new product being launched by Talk PR’s client Wella Professionals, and also to provide an avenue of communication between Josh and Wella’s social media followers and fans.
We spent a day at Josh Wood Atelier in Notting Hill, filming a couple of short interviews with Josh and footage of a models having her hair coloured using Illumina Color.
A two camera setup with lighting was used during this shoot and prime lenses were used to result in the highest possible quality of footage. We also used a camera slider to give smooth tracking shots of the model being styled.
The videos were edited into several different versions suitable for publication on a number of different websites, including Stylist.co.uk, Vogue.com, and the Wella UK Facebook page. The Vogue.com video can be seen in the player above.
Feedback from the client was really positive with Ellen Swingler, Account Manager, Talk PR, simply commenting; #LOVE IT!”
